This is a good time to review all home/vehicle/personal/pet preparedness/safety, as well as ensure you have a working weather radio for your home.

(4:00PM - Saturday 3/12/22) Daylight saving time begins tonight at 2AM Sunday March 13th, when we push clocks ahead 1 hour.
This is a good time to... -Test smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and replace batteries. -Test weather radio, and replace batteries (If applicable). -Review home severe weather preparedness plans and kit. -Check vehicle safety preparedness kit.

While portions of the state have already seen the first flakes of snow this season, there has yet to be a significant accumulating snow event or extreme cold... So now is the time to be prepared for the long haul of winter that will be soon upon us. This is a good time to review all home/vehicle/personal/pet preparedness and safety.

This is a good time to... -Check and replace the batteries in your smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and weather radio. -Review and check your home weather and safety preparedness plans and kits. -Check your vehicle weather and safety preparedness kits.

(7:15PM - 3/13/21) It's that time of year again...Time to push the clocks forward 1 hour at 2AM tonight. Losing an hour of sleep tonight and having to get used to the time change can be hard for some, but the good news is that it will once again be staying light out later in the evening beginning tomorrow. It's also another sign that spring is around the corner!
This is also a good time to check batteries in your smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, as well as your weather radio.

(8:30PM - 10/31/20) It's that time of year again...Time to push the clocks back 1 hour at 2AM tonight. Many will enjoy gaining an hour of sleep tonight, but having to get used to the time change can be hard for some...especially with it getting darker out earlier.
