(10:00PM - 5/28/19) Another storm system pushing across the region is bringing another multi-day period of severe weather potential to portions of the state Monday through Wednesday.

Monday recap...
On Monday, areas of showers and t'storms moved across portions of Northern and Central Illinois during the morning into early afternoon. In the wake of this activity, scattered shower and t'storm development occurred, with a numerous storms being severe, across much of Northern and portions of Central Illinois. All modes of severe weather occurred, including some tornadoes.

Tonight...
Widespread across of rain and t'storms are ongoing tonight across much of Northern and Central Illinois. This activity will continue for these areas overnight. An environment in place featuring low to moderate instability, good to great moisture and good shear will is in place. This environment will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t’storm threat across portions of Central Illinois overnight. Wind and hail will be the main threats, though an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Some of the shower and t'storm activity may make it into portions of Southern Illinois very late tonight.
Wednesday morning through Wednesday night...
Isolated to scattered shower and t'storms will be ongoing across a good portions of the state Wednesday morning into early afternoon. Development or regeneration of an scattered showers and t'storms will be likely in the vicinity of a front across Central and Southern Illinois during the afternoon and evening. An environment in place featuring low to moderate instability, good moisture and good shear will be in place. This environment will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t’storm threat across portions of Central and Southern Illinois during the afternoon and evening. Wind and hail will be the main threats. 
Additional periods of showers and t’storms from activity occurring across states to the west will also push across much of the state Wednesday evening into night. An environment in place featuring low to moderate instability, good moisture and good shear will be in place. This environment will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t’storm threat across much of the state Wednesday evening into night. Wind and hail will be the main threats, though an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
