11/13 Light Snow Accumulations Possible Tomorrow Night Across Northern Illinois

Over the last several days, model guidance has been going back and forth on the handling of a weather disturbance coming out of Montana late tonight and eventually into the Midwest by tomorrow night, as you can see in the loop below. Even at this stage of the game there remains differences but the possibility will be there for some light snow accumulations across portions of northern Illinois tomorrow night/overnight. More details below.....

An area of precipitation looks to organize initially to our west tomorrow afternoon associated with a broad area of low pressure. It is then forecast to streak eastward into the Midwest, including portions of northern Illinois as some latest model guidance is showing. This will not be a big deal snow event but could lay down some light accumulations up to an inch in spots as it looks now with the heavier amounts north of the Wisconsin border. 

Like previously stated, this doesn't look to be a big deal by any means but light accumulations will be possible and we will continue to update this forecast as new model guidance comes in.
