(11:00PM - 5/31/19) A fast moving disturbance pushing through the region in a northwest flow pattern, will bring severe t'storm potential to portions of the state on Saturday.

Saturday morning into Saturday night...
An isolated to scattered shower or t'storm is possible across portions of Northern Illinois Saturday morning. In the wake of this early activity, some clearing and destabilization will occur. Additional scattered showers and t'storms are expected to develop during the afternoon in the vicinity of a cold front sweeping southeastward...Across Southern Wisconsin, Northern and Western Illinois and down into Northwest Missouri. This activity will push southeastward across much of the state, affecting Northern and Central Illinois during the afternoon and evening, and Central and Southern Illinois during the evening and night. An environment in place featuring low to moderate instability, decent to good moisture, and decent to good shear will be in place. This will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t'storm threat across much of the state. Wind and hail will be the main threats.

An isolated to scattered shower or t'storm is possible across portions of Northern Illinois Saturday morning. In the wake of this early activity, some clearing and destabilization will occur. Additional scattered showers and t'storms are expected to develop during the afternoon in the vicinity of a cold front sweeping southeastward, across Southern Wisconsin, Northern and Western Illinois and down into Northwest Missouri. This activity will push southeastward across much of the state, affecting Northern and Central Illinois during the afternoon and evening, and Central and Southern Illinois during the evening and night. ​(9:45PM - 6/1/19) A fast moving disturbance through the region in a northwest flow pattern, will bring a severe t'storm potential to portions of the state on Saturday.

Saturday morning through Saturday night...
Areas of isolated to scattered showers and t'storms will be ongoing Saturday morning across portions of Northern and Central Illinois. Some of this early activity may linger into early Saturday afternoon across far Northeast and Eastern Illinois. In the wake of early activity, some clearing and destabilization will occur. During the afternoon, an environment will be in place featuring low to moderate instability, decent to good moisture and decent to good shear. Additional scattered shower and t'storm develop is expected in the vicinity of a cold front expected to push southeastward across Northern Illinois during the afternoon. This activity will then sweep southeastward across much of the state Saturday evening into Saturday night. Given the aforementioned environment expected to be in place, and isolated to widely scattered severe t'storm threat will be likely across Northern and Central Illinois during the afternoon and evening, then Central and Southern Illinois Saturday evening into night. Wind and hail will be the main threats.

Monday recap...
On Monday, areas of showers and t'storms moved across portions of Northern and Central Illinois during the morning into early afternoon. In the wake of this activity, scattered shower and t'storm development occurred, with a numerous storms being severe, across much of Northern and portions of Central Illinois. All modes of severe weather occurred, including some tornadoes.

Tuesday recap...
​On Tuesday, areas of showers and t'storms moved across portions of Northern and Central Illinois during the morning into early afternoon. In the wake of this activity, scattered shower and t'storm development occurred across Central Illinois, with widely scattered to scattered t'storms having been severe. Wind and hail were the main threats seen with this activity. Additionally, large complexes of rain and t'storms push across much of Northern and Central Illinois Tuesday evening through Tuesday night. In the wake of the early activity, clearing and destabilization will occur across the state. Additional isolated to scattered showers and t'storms will develop across the state during the afternoon, continuing into early tonightOf focus will be near and front and low pressure that will be sliding southeastward across Northern and Central Illinois. An environment in place featuring low instability, good moisture and decent shear will be in place. This environment will help support an isolated severe t’storm threat across Northern and Central Illinois Thursday afternoon into evening. All modes of severe weather are possible with any storm that reaches severe limits, though the threat is low overall.

Thursday morning through Thursday night...
Areas of showers and t'storms will be ongoing across portions of Northeast, Eastern and Southern Illinois Thursday morning. This activity will exit the state to the east by mid to late morning. In the wake of the early activity, some clearing and destabilization will occur across the state. Additional isolated to scattered showers and t'storms will develop across the state during the afternoon, continuing into the evening. Of focus will be near and front and low pressure that will be sliding southeastward across Northern and Central Illinois. An environment in place featuring low instability, good moisture and decent shear will be in place. This environment will help support an isolated severe t’storm threat across Northern and Central Illinois Thursday afternoon into evening. All modes of severe weather are possible with any storm that reaches severe limits, though the threat is low overall.

This environment will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t’storm threat across portions of Central Illinois overnight. Wind and hail will be the main threats, though an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Some of the shower and t'storm activity may make it into portions of Southern Illinois very late tonight.

Isolated to scattered shower and t'storms will be ongoing across a good portions of the state Wednesday morning into early afternoon. Development or regeneration of an scattered showers and t'storms will be likely in the vicinity of a front across Central and Southern Illinois during the afternoon and evening. An environment in place featuring low to moderate instability, good moisture and good shear will be in place. This environment will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t’storm threat across portions of Central and Southern Illinois during the afternoon and evening. This morning through tonight...
Areas of scattered showers and t'storms will move across portions of Northern and Central Illinois late this morning and into this afternoon. Further development, regeneration and  strengthening of this activity may occur across Central Illinois, where a front is located today...With activity will have better access to warm, moist and unstable air. An environment in place featuring moderate instability, good to great moisture and good shear will be in place. This environment will help support up to a scattered severe t’storm threat across portions of Central Illinois during the afternoon into evening. Wind and hail will be the main threats, though an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. A large complex of showers and t’storms from activity occurring across states to the west will also push into Northwest and Western Illinois this evening, and eventually across much of the state tonight. An environment in place featuring moderate instability, good to great moisture and good shear will be in place. This morning through tonight...

Areas of showers and t'storms have been ongoing this morning across portions of Northern and Central Illinois. In the wake of this activity, a warm front is expected to push northward, into the Northern/Central Illinois area during the afternoon. New scattered shower and t'storm development is likely to occur in the vicinity of this warm front during the afternoon across Eastern Iowa and into Northern and Central Illinois. An environment in place featuring moderate to high instability, good to great moisture and great shear will be in place. This environment will help support a scattered to numerous severe t’storm threat across much of Northern and Central Illinois. All modes of severe weather are likely, including a tornado threat. Forecast soundings support the potential for a few strong/violent tornadoes as well.
Tuesday morning through Tuesday night...
An isolated shower and t'storm may be ongoing across portions of Northern and Central Illinois Tuesday morning. Development of an isolated shower and t'storm will also be possible in the vicinity of a front across Central Illinois during the afternoon and evening. An environment in place featuring moderate to high instability, good to great moisture and meager shear will be in place. This environment will help support an isolated severe t’storm threat across portions of Central Illinois during the afternoon and evening. Wind and hail will be the main threats. 
Additional periods of showers and t’storms from activity occurring across states to the west will also push across much of the state Tuesday evening into night. An environment in place featuring moderate instability, good to great moisture and good shear will be in place. This environment will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t’storm threat across a good portion of the state Tuesday night. Wind and hail will be the main threats.
