This will bring a few additional periods of rain and t'storms to portions of the state, with continued severe t'storm potential and heavy rain/flood potential across the southern half of the state. With this update we have moved severe t'storm probabilities a bit north for today/tonight across Southern Illinois, and have adjusted the heavy rain/flood forecast a bit based on real time observations.

Widespread final event rainfall totals upwards of 1.00-5.00" are expected in a corridor across Southern Illinois, with locally higher amounts possible. Localized to widespread flooding is likely.

Impacts... •Periods of snow will traverse Northern and portions of Central Illinois, early Saturday afternoon through Monday afternoon. Rain will also be possible at times, due to marginal temperatures. •Snowfall accumulation will range from upwards of a dusting-2" across Northern and portions of Central Illinois. Locally higher amounts are possible closer to the IL/WI and IL/IA border areas. •With marginal temperatures, the most efficient snowfall accumulation will be on colder surfaces.
