(4:00PM Thursday - 6/23/22) As a disturbance moved through the region, an area of severe t'storms developed across portions of Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and Iowa the evening and night of Thursday, June 16th. This activity congealed in to a large complex, known as an MCS, and then moved southeastward across the Mid-Mississippi Valley, Ohio Valley and Southeast, overnight Thursday night through Friday night. This MCS traversed a large portion of Central and Southern Illinois Friday morning, producing widespread severe t'storms.
