(1:00PM - 7/15/19) A multi-day low end heat wave will continue for portions of the state, through today.
High temperatures across the state were in the upper 80's to around 90 on Friday, low to mid 90's on Saturday and low to mid 90's on Sunday. Heat indices during these three days were as high as the upper 90's to low 100's. This heat wave will continue for one more day across portions of the state, with high temperatures in the upper 80's to low 90's expected across Northern Illinois today. Further south, clouds and rain associated with the remnants of Hurricane Barry will keep temperatures a bit cooler across Central and Southern Illinois. Looking ahead...Hot and humid conditions will return later this week and next weekend, across much of the state. Below is the TAM heat and humidity forecast through today.
