While there is still a bit uncertainty regarding track and strength of this storm system, it is looking likely that there will be varying weather impacts across portions of the state. What we know... -A storm system will move through the region Friday and Saturday. -A severe t'storm threat will exist across portions of Central and Southern Illinois, Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. -A snowstorm is expected north of the state, across portions of the Midwest. -A bit of backside snow is possible across portions of Northern Illinois Saturday morning, but this appears minor at this time.
