(11:30AM - 2/6/20) A weak and fast moving disturbance is expected to push through the region Friday into Saturday, with minor snowfall accumulation likely across the state during this time.
A weak and fast moving disturbance will move through the region, Friday into Saturday. Along with it will come the chance for scattered snow showers or light snow, Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Snow will enter Northwest and Western Illinois Friday afternoon, then quickly spread across much of the state through Friday evening and Friday night, before ending from west to east across the state later Friday night into Saturday morning. This will be a minor/nuisance snow, with only minor snowfall accumulation of a trace to upwards of a dusting to 1.5" possible across the state. Below is the TAM snowfall forecast for this event.
