Model guidance continues to be in full agreement regarding this event, thus no changes are needed from the previous forecast. A weak and fast moving disturbance will move through the region, Friday into Saturday. Along with it will come the chance for scattered snow showers or light snow, Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Snow will enter Northwest and Western Illinois Friday afternoon, then quickly spread across much of the state through Friday evening and Friday night, before ending from west to east across the state later Friday night into Saturday morning. This will be a minor/nuisance snow, with only minor snowfall accumulation of a trace to a dusting likely across the state, with isolated totals closer to 1" possible for a few areas in Central Illinois.
