Fri-Sat, Nov 4-5th High Wind Episode

(10:00AM Thur, Nov 3rd 2022) As a developing and deepening storm system moves through the region on Friday and Saturday, winds at all levels of the atmosphere will respond by rapidly increasing. With enough mixing from the surface up into the lower atmosphere, some of the higher winds aloft will be transported to the surface.

•Friday Evening - Saturday Evening, Nov 4-5th: All of Illinois.

Impacts...
•A period of high winds is expected, with wind gusts upwards of 40-55MPH likely.
•The expected wind gusts will be strong enough to blow around lightweight objects and bring down small tree branches.
