6/23/2019

(7:45PM - 6/23/19) A series of disturbances pushing through the region, along with a meandering frontal boundary, will bring the threat for repeated rounds of severe t'storms to the state through Monday.

Friday/night recap...
Two clusters of rain and t'storms moved across Central and Southern Illinois Friday morning into Friday evening, with a third across the same areas Friday night. The first two clusters brought widespread severe weather, in the form of wind and hail, to affected areas.

Saturday/night recap...
Two clusters of rain and t'storms moved across Central and Southern Illinois Saturday morning. Additional areas of rain and t'storms pushed across Northwest, Western and Southwest Illinois Saturday night. Only isolated severe t'storms were seen with activity Saturday morning through night.
Tonight...
An isolated shower and t'storm will continue to be likely across the state this evening and into tonight. Any severe t'storm threat has come to an end, however.

Mo
nday morning-Monday night...
An isolated shower and t'storm may be possible Monday morning across portions of the state. In the wake of this activity, isolated to scattered showers and t'storms are expected to develop across portions of Northern and Central Illinois during the late morning into afternoon. This activity will then push east across a good portion of the state, before the state during by early Monday night. An environment in place featuring low to moderate to instability, low to moderate moisture and decent shear is expected. This will promote an isolated severe t'storm threat across Northern and Central Illinois. Wind and hail will be the main threats.

Below is our TAM severe t'storm forecast for Monday/night.
