Summary.... A ridge continues to be in place across the Central US, and will continue to be through Friday. This ridge has been and will continue to bring hot temperatures to much of the state and region. High temperatures into the 90's will continue to be expected across portions of the state through Friday.
Forecast For Tomorrow...
Friday, August 28th Forecast... High temperatures will range from the upper 80's to mid 90's across Northern and Central Illinois. Heat index values will be moderate, in the low to upper 90's. Low temperatures in the mid 60's to upper 70's will be common across Northern and Central Illinois as well. Across Southern Illinois, cooler high and low temperatures will be expected, as the remnants of Hurricane Laura affect the area.
