(11:30AM - 6/21/20) A storm system moving through the region will bring the chance for severe t'storms to the state on Monday.
Synopsis... A storm system and several disturbances are expected to move through the region on Monday. Isolated to scattered showers and t'storms will likely be ongoing or move into portions of the state, Monday morning. Some of this activity may persist into the afternoon across portions of the state, with the potential for re-intensification. Additionally, new scattered showers and t'storms will develop during the afternoon, as several disturbances move through the region. Both previous re-generated morning activity and new afternoon development will push across much of the state in the form of several clusters/lines, Monday afternoon through early Monday night. The environment expected to be in place will feature low instability, decent moisture, decent shear and decent forcing. This will lead to a low end severe t'storm threat across the state, with a minimal (level 1) severe t'storm risk expected. Large hail and damaging winds being the main threats. Below is the severe t'storm forecast for this event.
