For the past few days, model guidance has been showing the potential for yet another minor snowfall event during this period. Areas of snow will spread across portions of Northern and Central Illinois, from Monday morning through late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Due to the associated disturbance being fast moving, weak and moisture starved...This will remain a minor/nuisance event. With cold temperatures in place, snow will be of a high ratio/fluffy variety. What's Expected... Final snowfall totals upwards of 1-3" is expected across a large portion of Northern and Central Illinois, with amounts tapering on either side of the main axis.
