Mon-Wed, April 3-5th Severe T'Storm Event

​​(11:45AM Sun, April 2nd 2023) A storm system will move through the region Monday through Wednesday, bringing the possibility of a few rounds of t'storms to the state.

​Timing & Location...
•Monday evening - Tuesday morning, April 3-4th: Northern & Central Illinois.
•Tuesday afternoon - Early Wednesday morning, April 4-5th: Much of Illinois.

Impacts...
•A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across portions of Northern and Central Illinois, from Monday evening through Tuesday morning. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of hail.
•Another round or two of severe t'storms may be possible across a larger portions of Illinois, Tuesday afternoon through very early Wednesday morning. Additional information regarding this potential will be available in future updates.
