​​(11:00AM Tuesday - 8/2/22) As a few storm systems and disturbances move through the region over the next few days, a few rounds of rain/t'storms are expected across portions of the state. Given environmental conditions expected to be in place, a severe t'storm risk will be possible with some of this activity over the next few days.

•This Morning - Tonight, Aug 2nd: West-Central & Southern Illinois.
•Late Wednesday Morning - Late Wednesday Night, Aug 3rd: Much of Illinois.

Impacts...
•A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across portions of West-Central and Southern Illinois, from this morning through tonight. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging winds and large hail.
•A level 1 to 2 severe t'storm risk is in place across much of Illinois, from late Wednesday morning through late Wednesday night. Isolated to widely scattered severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging winds and large hail.
