Mon-Wed, July 4-6th Severe T'Storm Episode Update #2

​​​(11:15AM Monday - 7/4/22) As multiple disturbances move through the region over the next few days, a few rounds of rain/t'storms are expected across the state. Given environmental conditions expected to be in place, a severe t'storm risk will be possible with some of this activity over the next few days.

​Timing & Location...
•Late This Morning - Early Tuesday Morning, July 4-5th: Northern Illinois.
•Early Tuesday Morning - Early Wednesday Morning, July 5-6th: Northern and Central Illinois.

Impacts...
•A level 1 to 2 severe t'storm risk is in place across Northern Illinois, from late this morning through early Tuesday morning. Isolated to widely scattered severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado.
•A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across portions of Northern and Central  Illinois, from early Tuesday morning through early Wednesday morning. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado.
