Mon-Wed, June 20-22nd Heat Wave Update #3

​(10:00PM Tuesday - 6/21/22) A ridge continues to push eastward from the Central US and into Eastern US, as we head into the middle portion of this week. As this ridge has been moving through the region, along with it has come a push of hot conditions, which has taken up residence across the state and region for a brief time.

•Wed, June 22nd: Southern Illinois.

Impacts...
•Wed, June 22nd: High temperatures ranging from the low to upper 90's across Southern Illinois, with peak heat indices of 92-105. Across Northern and Central Illinois where the heat wave is ending, high temperatures will range from the mid 80's to low 90's.
