​(11:30PM Tue - 9/20/22) As a ridge briefly flexes across the Central US, a brief push of hot temperatures is underway across portions of the region and state. These conditions are expected to continue across portions of the state through Wed, Sept 21st.

•Wed, Sept 21st: Central and Southern Illinois.

Impacts...
•Wed, Sept 21st: High temperatures ranging from the mid 80's to low 90's across Central Illinois and the low to upper 90's across Southern Illinois, with temperatures perhaps around 100 across far Southern Illinois. Peak heat indices of 90-105 for affected areas.
