(7:00AM - 12/24/19) After an early start to winter, with back to back snow storms and record cold at the end of October into early November...Winter has generally been on hiatus for the most part since then. The pattern has generally been mild and relatively snow-less, and this is now extending into the Christmas holiday.
This Christmas will feature rare/unusually mild temperatures across the state. High temperatures on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will range in the 50’s and 60’s across the state, with low temperatures generally in the 30’s and 40’s for both days. This will likely make for a top 5 mild Christmas for most of the state, with some areas potentially approaching their record warmest Christmas. In addition to the mild temperatures, which will also span across much of the reining...There will not be a white Christmas for the state, as well as most of the region.
