(11:00PM - 5/31/19) A fast moving disturbance pushing through the region in a northwest flow pattern, will bring severe t'storm potential to portions of the state on Saturday.
Saturday morning into Saturday night... An isolated to scattered shower or t'storm is possible across portions of Northern Illinois Saturday morning. In the wake of this early activity, some clearing and destabilization will occur. Additional scattered showers and t'storms are expected to develop during the afternoon in the vicinity of a cold front sweeping southeastward...Across Southern Wisconsin, Northern and Western Illinois and down into Northwest Missouri. This activity will push southeastward across much of the state, affecting Northern and Central Illinois during the afternoon and evening, and Central and Southern Illinois during the evening and night. An environment in place featuring low to moderate instability, decent to good moisture, and decent to good shear will be in place. This will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t'storm threat across much of the state. Wind and hail will be the main threats. Below is our updated TAM severe t'storm forecast for this event.
