(10:45AM Fri, May 5th 2023) Multiple disturbances will move through the region Saturday through Monday, bringing the likelihood for a few round of severe t'storms to impact the state.
Timing & Location...
•Saturday morning - Saturday night, May 6th: Northwestern, Western & Southern Illinois.
•Sunday, May 7th: Northern & Central Illinois.
•Monday, May 8th: Much of Illinois.
•A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across Northwestern, Western and Southern Illinois, from Saturday morning through Saturday night. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging wind, large hail and an isolated tornado.
•A severe t'storm risk is also likely to exist across a large portion of the state on Sunday and Monday. More specific information regarding this potential is to come on the next update.
