Impacts... •A winter storm will bring a period of snow to Northern Illinois and a bit of freezing rain to Northern/Central Illinois, through Sunday morning, Jan 28-29th. •Snowfall accumulation will range from upwards of a dusting-1" to 4-7", across Northern Illinois. Locally higher snowfall amounts will be possible in the heaviest snowfall axis. •Ice accumulation upwards of a glaze will be possible across portions of Northern and Central Illinois, with locally higher amounts possible.
