Snow has been ongoing much of the night for a good portion of Northern Illinois. 1-4” of snow accumulation has occurred across a good portion of Northern Illinois thus far, generally along and north of I-88. Snow will continue across Northern Illinois through the late morning or early afternoon. Across Central Illinois, snow is beginning to overspread the area this morning. Snow will continue across Central Illinois through late afternoon. Across southern Illinois, precip will begin as rain, before changing to snow this afternoon and continuing into the evening. The final snowfall accumulation forecast from our previous update still looks on track.
