A mix of snow/sleet/freezing rain/rain will spread into Southern Illinois very early Sunday morning. This precip will then quickly spread northeastward in the form of snow, across all of Northern and Central Illinois. Snow will continue across Northern and Central Illinois, and a mix across Southern Illinois, through the day before finally ending Sunday evening. Model guidance has been trending drier with this event, with most locations now only looking to get a dusting to 1.5" across Northern and Central Illinois. Minor ice/sleet/snow accumulations are possible for portions of Southern Illinois. Below is our updated TAM snowfall forecast for the event.
