(10:30PM Saturday - 6/11/22) A ridge will build and move through eastward through the Central and Eastern US, late this weekend through the end of next week. As this ridge moves through, along with it will come a push of hot and humid conditions, which will expand and take up residence across the state and region for a several day period.
With this update the heat wave is on track, the lone change being we have accounted for the potential that hot and humid conditions could persist into Fri, June 17th across far Southern Illinois.
