(10:00AM Sunday - 8/28/22) As a few disturbances and a main storm system move through the region through over the next two days, a few rounds of rain/t'storms are expected across portions of the state. Given environmental conditions expected to be in place, a severe t'storm risk will be possible with some of this activity over the next two days.

•A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across Northern and Central Illinois, from this afternoon through tonight. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado.
