A weak and fast moving disturbance will move through the region on Sunday, and will bring periods of snow and minor/nuisance accumulation to portions of the state. Model guidance continues to be in overall good agreement regarding this period, thus little to no change was needed with this forecast update.

​Forecast...
​Areas of snow and snow showers will spread across portions of Northern and Central Illinois, from late Sunday morning through late Sunday night or early Monday morning. Due to the associated disturbance being fast moving, weak and moisture starved...This will remain a minor/nuisance snowfall event. With cold temperatures in place, snow will be of a high ratio/fluffy variety.

​What's Expected...
Final snowfall totals upwards of 1-3" are expected across portions of West-Central Illinois, with amounts tapering on either side of the main axis.
