A weak and fast moving disturbance will move through the region today through tonight, and will bring periods of snow and minor/nuisance accumulation to portions of the state. Model guidance continues to be in overall good agreement regarding this event, thus only minor changes were needed with this update.

​Forecast...
​Areas of snow and snow showers will spread across portions of Northern and Central Illinois, from midday today through Monday morning. This activity is expected across Central Illinois from midday today through Monday morning, and Northern Illinois from this evening through Monday morning. Due to the associated disturbance being fast moving, weak and moisture starved...This will remain a minor/nuisance snowfall event.

​What's Expected...
Final snowfall totals upwards of 1-3" are expected across portions of West-Central Illinois, with amounts tapering to a dusting on either side of the main axis.
