This storm produced two periods of snow, one across Northern and portions of Central Illinois Sunday evening into Monday morning, and a second across Northeast Illinois Monday afternoon/evening. Moderate to heavy snow and snowfall rates of 1-2" per hour was seen during the peak of the storm Sunday night into Monday morning across portions of Northern Illinois. Final snowfall totals range from around 1-2" across portions of Central Illinois, around I-74...to 3-6" across much of Northern Illinois, around and north of I-80. Locally higher amounts were seen across this area as well.
