​​​(10:30PM Friday - 6/10/22) A ridge will build and move through eastward through the Central and Eastern US, late this weekend through the end of next week. As this ridge moves through, along with it will come a push of hot and humid conditions, which will expand and take up residence across the state and region for a several day period.

Impacts...
-High temperatures ranging from the low to upper 90's for affected areas each day during this period.
-Hottest temperatures for affected areas will be Monday through Wednesday.
-Temperatures around 100 or into the low 100's possible around the St. Louis metro area, Monday through Wednesday.
-Heat index values of 95 to 110 during the Sunday through Thursday period, with highest values being Monday through Wednesday.
