(9:45PM - 3/6/19) A weak and fast moving storm system is still expected to bring a light accumulating snow event to portions of the state Thursday morning through Friday morning.
Snow will push into Western Illinois early Thursday morning, spreading with time across Central Illinois during the morning and afternoon on Thursday, and Northern Illinois during the afternoon and night on Thursday. This snow will continue in varying intensity across Northern and Central Illinois into Friday morning, before diminishing by early afternoon.
An axis of 1-3” of snow is possible from Western into Central Illinois, with lesser amounts to the north and south of this main axis.
