(11:30AM - 7/5/19) Several smaller disturbances moving through the region will bring the chance for severe t'storms to portions of the state through Saturday July 6th.

July 5th - Friday Morning-Night Forecast...
Development of scattered showers and t'storms has begun to occur late this morning across portions of the state. Further development is expected across the state, with this activity then set to slowly push eastward across the state into tonight. An environment characterized by high instability, high moisture and low shear will be in place. This will aide in an isolated severe t’storm threat across a good portion of the state, with damaging wind and large hail being the main threats.

July 6th - Saturday Morning-Night Forecast...

Isolated to scattered showers and t'storms will push into portions of Northern Illinois Saturday morning. Regeneration and further development of this activity will occur across Northern Illinois during the rest of the morning and early afternoon. This activity will then push southeastward across Central and Southern Illinois Saturday afternoon into night. An environment characterized by high instability, high moisture and low shear will be in place. This will aide in an isolated severe t’storm threat across a good portion of the state, with damaging wind and large hail being the main threats.
June 25th - Tuesday Morning-Night Recap...
Scattered showers and t'storms developed and pushed across portions of Northern Illinois Tuesday afternoon. Some of these t'storms were severe, with wind and hail being the main threats that occurred. Tuesday evening into Tuesday night, a complex of rain and t'storms that developed across Southern Iowa pushed across Western and Central Illinois. Severe t'storms were widespread with this activity across Western Illinois, waning with time across Central Illinois. Damaging winds and large hail occurred with this activity.

June 26th - Wednesday Morning-Night Recap...

Scattered showers and t'storms developed across Western and Southwest Illinois Wednesday afternoon. This activity grew upscale into a large complex, which pushed across portions of Central and much of Southern Illinois from the afternoon into night. Isolated to widely scattered severe t'storms occurred with this activity, producing damaging winds and large hail. Further north, scattered showers and t'storms developed across portions of Northern Illinois late in the afternoon and evening. This activity spread across portions of Northern Illinois into the night. Isolated to widely scattered t'storms occurred with this activity, producing damaging winds and large hail.

​June 27th - Thursday Morning-Thursday Night...
The southern end of a complex of rain and t'storms pushed across portions of Northern Illinois Thursday afternoon and evening. A few isolated t'storms were severe, producing damaging winds and large hail.
​June 28th - Friday Morning-Friday Night Recap…
A weakening complex of rain and t'storms pushed across portions of Northern Illinois Friday morning. The western end of this complex regenerated, and moved across portions of Central and Southern Illinois during the afternoon and evening. Widely scattered severe t'storms occurred with this activity, producing damaging winds and large hail.

June 29th - Saturday Morning-Saturday Night Recap...
​Scattered t'storms developed and moved across portions of Northern and Central Illinois during the afternoon and evening. Isolated t'storms were severe, producing damaging wind and large hail.

​June 30th - Sunday Morning-Sunday Night Recap...
Two complexes of rain and severe t’storms spread across much of Northern and Central Illinois, Sunday afternoon into evening. The first complex pushed across Northern and Eastern Illinois, bringing widespread damaging winds to the area. The second complex pushed across Northwest and Western Illinois, also bringing widespread damaging winds to the area.
July 1st - Monday Morning-Night Recap...
Weakening areas of scattered showers and t'storms pushed across portions of the state during the morning into early afternoon. Additional isolated showers and t'storms developed and pushed across portions of Northern Illinois during the afternoon.

July 2nd - Tuesday Morning-Night Recap...

Scattered showers and t'storms developed and moved across much of Northern and portions of Central Illinois, Tuesday afternoon into night. Isolated t'storms were severe, with damaging winds and large hail. Isolated showers and t'storms occurred across Southern Illinois during the afternoon and evening.

July 3rd - Wednesday Morning-Night Recap...
Scattered showers and t'storms developed across a good portion of the state Wednesday afternoon. This activity then meandered across the state into Wednesday night. Isolated t'storms were severe, with damaging winds and large hail the main threats that occurred.
July 4th - Thursday Morning-Night Recap...
Scattered showers and t'storms moved across a good portion of the state, from Thursday morning into Thursday night. No severe t'storms occurred.
