(9:30PM - 11/5/19) A few disturbances will move through the region through Thursday, bringing periods of snow to portions of the state.
The first period of snow will affect portions of far Northern tonight through early to mid morning Wednesday. Precip may end as a few rain showers or drizzle Wednesday morning. Minor snow accumulation of a dusting is possible for some locations, to potentially around 1" in the vicinity of the Illinois/Wisconsin border. Much higher snowfall totals will exist across Southern Wisconsin. A second period of snow is possible across portions of Northern and possibly Central Illinois, Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning. Northern Illinois would have potential from Wednesday afternoon into night, and Central Illinois Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Minor snow accumulation of a dusting may be possible for some areas. Below is our TAM snowfall forecast for the time period.
