(7:30PM - 4/14/20) A weak and fast moving disturbance will move through the region tonight into Wednesday morning, bringing with it a period of snow for portions of Northern and Central Illinois. Minor snowfall accumulation will be likely for affected areas.
Snow will develop and push into Western Illinois and vicinity around midnight or so. This activity will then spread across portions of Northern and Central Illinois overnight and into Wednesday morning, quickly ending from west to east, early to mid Wednesday morning. Upwards of a dusting to 2" of snow is possible across the affected areas, with localized higher amounts possible. Most efficient snowfall accumulation will be on the coldest surfaces.
