An area of snow will develop and spread across Southern Illinois Tuesday evening into Tuesday night. This area of snow will then expand as it moves northeast, and spread into portions of Central Illinois overnight Tuesday night...continuing to affect both Central and Southern Illinois into Wednesday morning...before ending from west to east Wednesday afternoon. Minor snowfall accumulation is expected, generally ranging a dusting to 1.5" across portions of Central and Southern Illinois. Below is the snowfall forecast for this event.
