This storm produced a period of freezing rain, and then a period of snow for much of Northern Illinois. Ice accumulations ranged from 0.10-0.30" across a good portion of Northern Illinois. Final snowfall accumulations of 4-8" were common across Northwest and North-Central Illinois, with lower amounts of 1-3" closer to the Chicago area.
