(11:00AM - 7/10/19) A storm system moving through the region will bring the threat for severe t'storms to portions of the state, through tonight.
July 10th - This Morning-Tonight Forecast... Isolated to scattered showers and t'storms will develop during the afternoon, along a cold front pushing across the state. This activity will sweep eastward across state during the afternoon and evening, exiting the state tonight. The greatest coverage of this activity may be across Central and Southern Illinois. An environment characterized by high instability, high moisture and low shear will be in place. This will promote an isolated severe t’storm threat across much of the state, with damaging wind, large hail and an isolated tornado being the main threats.
July 9th - Tuesday Morning-Night Recap...
Isolated to scattered showers and t'storms developed Tuesday afternoon and evening, pushing into Northwest, Western and Southwest Illinois. This activity then moved eastward across portions of Northern and Central Illinois into Tuesday night. A few isolated strong t'storms occurred with this activity. Below is the TAM severe t’storm forecasts for this morning-tonight.
