(5:00PM Mon, Dec 19th 2022) A storm system is expected to move through the region later this week, in the days leading up to Christmas. Current data suggests this potential winter storm/blizzard will have the opportunity to produce significant snowfall, high winds and cold temperatures across portions of the region and state. The combination of these factors may lead to a high impact and significant event across portions of the region and state. Stay tuned to future updates for up to date information.

•A winter storm, potentially a blizzard, is expected to impact portions of the region and state, from Wednesday night through Friday night Dec 21-23rd.
•Potential continues to increase for an axis of snowfall accumulation across the state.
•Potential continues to increase for high winds, cold temperatures and cold wind chills across the state as well.
•Potential exists for a high impact and significant event, which would lead to significant and widespread travel disruption across the region and state.
