​(11:00AM Thur, March 23rd 2023) Thursday morning update on multiple disturbances and a main storm system that will move through the region, through Saturday. This will lead to multiple rounds of rain and t'storms that will traverse the state, with periods of severe t'storm potential and heavy rain/flood potential. Little to no changes were needed to forecasts with this update.

•Severe T'storms:
-Late Thursday afternoon - Friday morning, March 23-24th: Southern Illinois.
-Friday afternoon - Early Friday night, March 24th: Southern Illinois.
•Heavy Rain/Flooding:
-Thursday afternoon - Friday night, March 23-24th: Central & Southern Illinois.

Impacts...
•Multiple rounds of severe t'storm potential is possible across portions of the state, through Friday night.
•Widespread heavy rainfall is expected across the state, especially Southern Illinois, through Friday night. Rainfall totals upwards of 1.00-5.00" are expected in a corridor across Southern Illinois, with localized to widespread flooding likely.
