This will lead to multiple rounds of rain and t'storms that will traverse the state, with periods of severe t'storm potential and heavy rain/flood potential. Little to no changes were needed to forecasts with this update.

-Tonight - Friday morning, March 23-24th: Southern Illinois.
-Friday afternoon - Early Friday night, March 24th: Southern Illinois.
•Heavy Rain/Flooding:
-Thru Friday night, March 23-24th: Central & Southern Illinois.

Impacts...
•Multiple rounds of severe t'storms are possible across portions Southern Illinois, through Friday night.
•Widespread heavy rainfall is expected across portions of the state, especially Southern Illinois, through Friday night. Widespread rainfall totals upwards of 1.00-5.00" are expected in a corridor across Southern Illinois, with localized to widespread flooding likely.
