Wed, July 17th Severe T'Storm Threat

​(1:15PM - 7/17/19) A disturbance moving through the region will bring the chance for severe t'storms to portions of the state, through tonight.

7/17/19 - This Afternoon-Tonight's Forecast...
A large complex of rain and t'storms has been pushing across Iowa this morning and early afternoon. This activity is expected to spread southeastward, into portions of Northwest, Western and Southwest Illinois from this afternoon into tonight. An environment in place featuring moderate instability, high moisture and low shear will help support an isolated to widely scattered severe t'storm threat for the aforementioned areas. Damaging winds and hail will be the main threats.
