Impacts... •A winter storm is expected to impact the region and state, from tonight through Saturday, Dec 21-24th. •Snowfall totals upwards of 1-3" to 2-5" are expected across the state, with locally higher amounts possible.. •High winds are expected across the state, with wind gusts upwards of 30-45MPH likely, and locally higher wind gusts possible. •The combination of the expected snow and high winds will cause blowing and drifting snow, especially in rural/open areas. Near blizzard conditions will be possible a times. •Cold temperatures and wind chills are expected, with peak wind chill values ranging from -10 to -35 across the state.
