Impacts... •A winter storm will impact the region and state, Wednesday night through Saturday, Dec 21-24th. •Snowfall totals upwards of 1-3" to 2-5" are expected across the state, with locally higher amounts possible. •High winds are expected across the state, with wind gusts upwards of 30-50MPH likely, and locally higher wind gusts possible. Isolated power outages and minor tree damage is possible. •The combination of the expected snow and high winds will cause blowing and drifting snow, especially in rural/open areas. Near blizzard conditions will be possible a times. •Cold temperatures and wind chills are expected, with peak wind chill values ranging from -10 to -35 across the state.
