Wed-Thur, April 19-20th Severe T'Storm Episode

​​(10:45AM Tue, April 18th 2023) A storm system will move through the region on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing the possibility for a few round of severe t'storms to impact the state.

​Timing & Location...
•Wednesday morning - Wednesday afternoon, April 19th.
•Thursday morning - Thursday night, April 20th.

Impacts...
•A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across Northern and portions of Central Illinois, from Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging wind and large hail.
•A severe t'storm risk is likely to exist across a large portion of the state on Thursday as well. More specific information regarding this potential is to come on the next update.
