Wed-Thur, April 19-20th Severe T'Storm Episode Update #2

​(11:30PM Tue, April 18th 2023) Tuesday night update regarding a storm system that will move through the region on Wednesday and Thursday, bringing the possibility for a few rounds of severe t'storms to impact the state.

​Timing & Location...
•Wednesday morning - Wednesday afternoon, April 19th.
•Thursday midday - Thursday night, April 20th.

Impacts...
•A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across Northern and portions of Central Illinois, from Wednesday morning through Wednesday afternoon. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging wind and large hail.
•A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across all of Illinois, from Thursday midday through Thursday night. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging wind, large hail and an isolated tornado.
