Timing & Location... •Severe T'Storm Risk: Wednesday evening - Thursday morning, Feb 8-9th: Southern Illinois. •Snowfall: Early Thursday morning - Thursday evening, Feb 8th: Far Northwestern Illinois. •High Winds: Wednesday night - Thursday morning, Feb 8-9th: Southern Illinois. Impacts... •A level 1 severe t'storm risk is in place across portions of Southern Illinois, from Wednesday evening through Thursday morning. Isolated severe t'storms will be possible, posing a risk of damaging winds, hail and an isolated tornado. •Rain may mix with or change to snow across far Northwestern Illinois, early Thursday morning through Thursday evening, with a dusting to 1" of snow expected. •A period of high winds is expected across much of the state, Wednesday night through Thursday evening, with wind gusts of 35-50MPH expected.
